Doña Julia Golf Club is property
of Group Evemarina, company of
reference in the real estate
market, and is managed by
Domingo Gavira. The
golf course is part of an
ambitious residential complex of
6.5 million of m2 including 3
golf courses and two luxury
hotels run by Hyatt.
The course at the present time
is an 18-hole, par 71 and 5.976
metres long.
When the construction works of
the Hyatt hotel and the club
house is completed the course
will be an 18-hole, par 72 and
6.100 metres.
The course has been built
according to United States Golf
Association (USGA) rules and
regulations with regard to the
tees, bunkers, drainage and
greens.
The most outstanding feature of
this course, constructed by
Group Evemarina and designed by
Antonio Garcia Garrido, is the
spacious feel of the greens,
sown with Agrostis Pen-G2 grass
and having an average area of
700 m2. Some are even in excess
of 1.000 m2.
At the moment Doña Julia Golf
Club has a 400 m2 temporary club
house on two floors. In the club
house you can find a 100 m2 pro
shop, changing rooms, reception
and restaurant run by the
catering service or Hotel
Guadalpin.
