La Cala North
Situated at a higher level than
La Cala South, with its winding
fairways and elevated greens
makes it one of the most
challenging rounds to non
professionals and most suitable
for high level tournaments. The
tees prove to be very versatile
for they offer different shot
angles for the drive. Some of
the greens afford breathtaking
views of the Mediterranean and
the hillsides. At the 15th hole,
the scenery is particularly
striking, with the village of
Mijas cast in it.
La Cala South
Requires accuracy which is the
key to a successful round.
Although the fairways are wide
and the greens are large, the
often sloping terrain can
severely punish a wayward shot.
The rough is thick and will make
you pay for a loose shot. As the
greens are elevated you will
require accuracy for your
approach shots.
Buggies are recommended for
both courses.
