La Cañada 15 minutes from Gibraltar and close to Sotogrande, San Roque, Valderrama and Almenara in one of the finest golfing holiday areas of Spain situated on the Costa del Sol and within reach of Marbella.

La Cañada was the first municipal course on the Costa del Sol. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones who also designed other courses in the area such as Valderrama and Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. Situated high above Guadiaro, a town that proportionally presents the highest number of amateurs in Spain, it offers very well maintained greens, an important variety of autochthonous trees and the glen on the 9th hole which gives its name to the golf course.
