Mijas Golf courses are one of
the busiest complexes on the
coast. Los Largos is the older
of the two courses with wide
flat fairways, large raised
greens and with plenty of
bunkers and water hazards (for
which the course is named) to
keep you focussed. As there is
not too much rough or trees this
can be deceptive as you might
tend to go for it and pay the
price.
Los Olivos has more trees
than Los Largos and the terrain
is more undulating. The course
has been completely renovated
with a new irrigation system,
replacement of tees and
redefinition of greens to USGA
standards.
Located just 10 minutes
inland from the Fuengirola
by-pass exiting at the Coin
sign.
