Location: The Golf Course is situated 7 kilometres west of Palma, in an extensive wooded valley and in the heart of the Bendinat Housing Estate. Introduction to the Course: The original Bendinat 9-hole course, designed by Martin Hawtree, opened in 1986. The second nine holes were added in 1996. Real Bendinat is an attractive course with pretty spectacular sea views. One of its main plus points is playing against the backdrop of the magnificent Bendinat castle. Bendinat is a highly varied course, combining sea views with a beautiful pine valley. Its undulating route makes it an attractive and fun course for golfers of all abilities. Golf Club has created its own special nature reserve and is one of only 15 golf courses in Europe to take this step. The course is set in a wide valley, where the king of Spain plays. "The King of Spain is a regular visitor to the course, which is how it gets its Royal title." Bendinat golf is also the home of the Robert Winsor Charity Golf and the Bendinat London Senior Masters competition. Eighty percent of the holes are dog-legs which can be a pain for the casual golfer, but if you have a decent handicap,l Bendinat is an entertaining course. Course Facilities: Driving Range, Club house, Bar/Restaurant, Pro Shop and Putting Green.
