Canyamel golf is located on the north-east side of Mallorca and is about 80 km from Palma.

Introduction to the course :

Opened in 1989 and its 6,000 metres offers a hilly front nine holes and a slightly longer and flat back nine - but a lot of water makes up for its flatness and is a real test of any player's ability.

The marvel of its vegetation, the giant hundred-year-old Chamaerops palm trees, the fig trees, the round and perfect strawberry tree at the 15th hole, the wild olives and their civilised children, the monumental olives, the three different greens of the long suffering carob trees, those vines which climb up from the wonderful gully which runs past the 10th, 11th and 12th holes, the strong wild shrubs witnesses to the islands’ history, and bushes, and irises, etc. all of this provides the scenery for this course, a real stroll through
nature, in a course of average difficulty.

It is a well maintained course with exceptionally well kept greens, many of the fairways are wide, thus giving the high handicap players chance to make amends for wayward tee shots.

Course Facilities:

The golf course offers a double driving range for 40 people, 2 putting greens, a pitching green and a practice bunker.
The Club House also includes restaurant with facilities like showers and lockers and a lounge with video. We also have a fleet of 35 golf carts. Senior players are allowed to play on the fairway with golf carts. Other players are not allowed to do so.
