Description : This museum is located in the old quarter of Marbella, and is housed inside a 16th century building.
The collection of engravings, murals, and graphic art in the museum is considered one of the best in the world. It includes, amongst other materials, etchings, aquatints, lithographs and xylographs. The collection features works from renowned artists such as Dali, Picasso, Miro and Tapies. In addition to the permenant collection, there are also temporary exhibitions held regularly in the museum. One of the most important activities of the museum is the National Engraving Awards which are organised every year. |

Description: This museum contains some stunning specimens of miniature trees and forests- there are about 300 bonsai specimens housed in the museum. It is considered one of the best collections in Europe and also the best wild olive tree collection in the world. Miguel Angel Garcia the owner and cultivator has a magnificent collection of beautiful miniature trees which are appealing to the eye and striking central display of wild olive trees, bonsai trees, water and sculptured rocks which have been brought in from the Torcal of Antequera.There are also some endangered species like the Pinsapo Pine. There are also very important specimens like the Chinese “Almez” and “Acebuche Olive”- which is 300 years old. The museum provides for a delightful and educational visit for the whole family. The owner Miguel Angel Garcia looks after the maintenance and care of the museum specimens. |
