Gently undulating fairways meander between olive groves to produce a testing golf course. Large bunkers protect the greens and several water hazards come into play, the rough can also be difficult. The Marbella golf course starts off fairly hilly, then starts to level out into more open flat terrain. The course was opened in 1994 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones. A 18 hole course, it will be quite testing for amateurs. Â
